Guest Service Agent
Overview
Avid Hotel by IHG is currently hiring for a Guest Service Agent to work in our Austin, TX location. This position is responsible for providing guests with their requested services and bringing new guests into the Avid Hotel by IHG experience. Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service to all guests while maintaining a friendly and professional environment.
- Assist other staff with various tasks such as taking reservations, answering phones, billing, cash handling, and cleaning.
- Provide information to guests about hotel services and events.
- Maintain books in accordance with hotel policy and procedure.
- ·Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding employment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
