This position requires proficiency in phone systems and front desk operations, along with the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Utilize phone etiquette to manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments as necessary.
- Assist in promoting hotel services, amenities, and special offers to enhance guest experiences.
- Wear hotel uniform and name tag in accrodance with brand standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred not required.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles will be an advantage.
