Job Title: Supplier Development Coordinator
Location: Arlington, WA, Onsite
Pay Rate: $36.05 – $44.23/hr
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Supplier Development Coordinator for a Tier 1 structural aerospace components manufacturer supporting major OEM programs, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or supply chain operations looking to further their career in aerospace manufacturing.
- Lead supplier assessments, onboarding, and capability development for machined, composite, and special-process components supporting Tier 1 OEM aerospace programs
- Drive NPI, rate readiness, PPAP, and FAI (AS9102) to ensure full supplier production readiness across key programs
- Own supplier OTD, cost, and schedule performance; lead recovery plans, escalations, and executive business reviews for at-risk suppliers
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including capacity constraints, single-source dependencies, and geopolitical factors; develop dual-sourcing and contingency strategies
- Lead RCCA using 8D/DMAIC and drive VA/VE, should-cost modeling, and continuous improvement roadmaps
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 8 years in supplier development, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or operations within aerospace or regulated manufacturing
- AS9100, APQP, PPAP, FAI (AS9102), Lean Manufacturing, MRP, Excel, and 8D/DMAIC proficiency required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status)
