ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Control System Specialist for our client in new nuclear technology!
- Design, build, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical control panels and instrumentation systems.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot LabVIEW-based control and data acquisition systems.
- Configure and integrate instrumentation, sensors, heaters, control valves, VFDs, motors, and other field devices into control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, I&C, and communication issues.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of hands-on experience building, troubleshooting, commissioning, or maintaining industrial control systems, instrumentation, automated equipment, or laboratory test systems.
- Experience building and wiring electrical control panels from schematics.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting LabVIEW applications and data acquisition systems.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software for developing electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control systems drawings.
- Experience with PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols.
- Experience designing or supporting UL508A control panels.
- Experience with SCADA systems, industrial automation platforms, or DCS.
