EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: Contract-To-Hire
JOB SITE: Kent, WA
PAY RATE RANGE: $22-$32/hr
SHIFT: M-F Day Shift
EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible

This position performs inspections of vendor supplied products and ASDI fabricated components to ensure material, regulatory and dimensional standards are met
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform inspections of vendor supplied products and ASDI fabricated components to ensure material, regulatory and dimensional standards are met
· Work with Quality Manager and Inventory, Materials and Purchasing department to plan inspection schedules and priorities
· Perform in process inspections of sub-assemblies and finished products according to the established criteria
· Identify quality trends with parts going through incoming inspection in order to determine if inspection % needs to be maintained, reduced or increased for specific components
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in quality control position
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures
- Ability to use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, optical comparators etc.
- Computer skills: General proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Comfortable performing basic arithmetic using a calculator
