EMPLOYEMENT TYPE: Contract-To-Hire
JOB SITE: Kent, WA
PAY RATE RANGE: $66-$71/hr
SHIFT: Days but must be open to weekends
EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is for an Avionics/Electrical Test Engineer at a prominent Aerospace company.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Configure avionics systems for test in thermal and vibration environmental testing chambers.
· Execute work orders to support system-level electrical validation of New Glenn avionics.
· Review and process data collected by test systems.
· Report findings in a standardized format.
· Identify and report non-conformance issues with test systems and units under test.
· Write and maintain automation scripts in Python to support data acquisition, test execution, and data post-processing.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and data acquisition systems during testing.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of a B.S. in electrical, computer engineering or related field
· 3 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining test chambers and automated test and measurement equipment
· Sound knowledge of electronics, electrical circuit fundamentals
· Sound knowledge of EMI/EMC standards, IEC & automotive standards or equivalent
· Familiar with hardware development life cycle
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Passion for hands-on problem solving and avionics integration and test
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs
· Flexibility to support weekend shifts or non-standard hours may be required based on program needs
