ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an Aerospace Electrical Test Engineers, of all levels (L2/L3), for a Space Exploration company which would be a great opportunity for someone with strong testing, troubleshooting and supporting thermal systems. The hiring manager wants someone who has actually stood next to hardware, operated chambers, debugged failures, and made systems work.
- Configure avionics systems for test in thermal and vibration environmental testing chambers.
- Execute work orders to support system level electrical validation of avionics.
- Review and process data collected by test systems.
- Report findings in standardized format.
- Identify and report non-conformance issues with test systems and units under test.
- Write and maintain automation scripts in Python to support data acquisition, test execution, and data post-processing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and data acquisition systems during testing.
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated system testing of launch vehicles with a focus on electrical subsystems.
- Design, implement, and optimize data acquisition systems for accurate test measurement and analysis.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical test engineering, preferably within the aerospace or related industry.
- Hardware testing NOT software testing.
- Proven experience with data acquisition systems (DAQ), instrumentation, and control systems.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, data processing, and scripting tasks.
- Strong understanding of system-level testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
