Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medicaid Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of Medicaid applications and redeterminations for residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living Facility (ALF). This role requires strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to guide residents and families through complex financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience handling Medicaid applications, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Strong understanding of Medicaid eligibility and redetermination processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
  
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate, process, and track all Medicaid applications and redeterminations
• Meet with residents and/or families to gather required documentation and provide guidance
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of applications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor application status and follow up with agencies as needed
• Maintain organized and compliant resident financial records
• Collaborate with admissions, business office, and clinical teams
• Educate residents and families on Medicaid eligibility and requirements
