Position Summary:

Qualifications:
- Prior experience handling Medicaid applications, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Strong understanding of Medicaid eligibility and redetermination processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Initiate, process, and track all Medicaid applications and redeterminations
- Meet with residents and/or families to gather required documentation and provide guidance
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of applications in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Monitor application status and follow up with agencies as needed
- Maintain organized and compliant resident financial records
- Collaborate with admissions, business office, and clinical teams
- Educate residents and families on Medicaid eligibility and requirements
