What You’ll Do
- Lead all facility maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs to keep systems running efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, life safety codes, and state/federal requirements
- Supervise and support maintenance staff through scheduling, coaching, and performance oversight
- Conduct routine inspections of the building, equipment, and grounds
- Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed
- Assist with emergency preparedness and disaster planning initiatives
- Prior maintenance leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, long-term care, or a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
- Familiarity with life safety regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, or assisted living setting
- EPA certification or other technical certifications
- Knowledge of OSHA and life safety code requirements
