Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all business office functions, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable
- Manage Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay billing processes
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and follow-up on outstanding balances
- Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate resident financial records
- Work closely with admissions to review payer sources and financial eligibility
- Communicate with residents and families regarding billing and financial matters
- Monitor aging reports and implement strategies to reduce outstanding AR
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies
- Previous experience as a BOM or in a similar role within a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing
- Experience with accounts receivable and collections
