Business Office Manager (BOM)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (BOM) to oversee the financial and administrative operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing, collections, and insurance processes within a healthcare or long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all business office functions, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable
• Manage Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay billing processes
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and follow-up on outstanding balances
• Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate resident financial records
• Work closely with admissions to review payer sources and financial eligibility
• Communicate with residents and families regarding billing and financial matters
• Monitor aging reports and implement strategies to reduce outstanding AR
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a BOM or in a similar role within a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing
• Experience with accounts receivable and collections
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
