Pediatric Physical Therapist – Part Time / Contract
Location: East Orange, NJ
Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Hours | Primarily After School, Evenings, and Some Saturdays
Position Type: Part Time / Contract (1099)
Compensation: $70–$95 per hour (based on experience and credentialing)
About Ava’s Hub:
Ava’s Hub provides family-centered therapy services focused on helping children participate more fully in meaningful activities and everyday life.
Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and treatment planning
- Provide pediatric physical therapy services
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members
- Complete documentation and progress reports
- Participate in program development and groups
Requirements:
- Active NJ Physical Therapy License required
- Evening availability strongly preferred as the majority of clients are scheduled during after-school hours (approximately 3:00 PM–8:00 PM)
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Credentialed providers preferred but not required
- Experience with developmental delays, neurological diagnoses, motor planning, and gross motor interventions preferred
- Strong communication and family-centered approach required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Preferred Experience:
- Neurological populations
- Gross motor development
- Balance and coordination interventions
- Autism / neurodivergent populations
- Group therapy experience
