Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) – Part Time / Contract
Location: East Orange, NJ
Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Hours | Primarily After School, Evenings, and Some Saturdays
Position Type: Part Time / Contract (1099)
Compensation: $65–$90 per hour (based on experience, credentialing status, and caseload)

Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide pediatric occupational therapy services
- Complete documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in development of groups and innovative programming
Requirements:
- Active NJ Occupational Therapy License required
- Minimum Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
- Evening availability strongly preferred as the majority of clients are scheduled during after-school hours (approximately 3:00 PM–8:00 PM)
- Pediatric experience preferred (school, outpatient, EI, home, ABA, etc.)
- Credentialed with insurance preferred but not required
- Experience with neurodivergent populations preferred
- Strong communication and family-centered approach required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US

- Autism
- Sensory processing
- ADLs and life skills
- Fine motor / handwriting
- Executive functioning
- Group therapy experience
