Position Overview
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Logistics Operator Lead to join our growing team! This leadership role is responsible for supporting daily logistics operations, guiding team members, and ensuring install crews and service technicians are fully equipped for success each day.
As a key team lead, you’ll help oversee material preparation (glass, doors, screens, and parts), coordinate truck and trailer unloading, and ensure accurate inventory tracking. You’ll work closely with management to maintain efficiency, safety, and productivity across the department.
This role requires a hands-on approach, including operating a forklift and regularly getting off equipment to perform manual material handling tasks such as lifting, moving, staging, and organizing materials.
What You’ll Do
- Perform continuous heavy lifting, manually handling windows and doors throughout the shift
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas
- Move, stack, and stage products safely and efficiently in designated areas
- Handle materials both by hand and with equipment when needed
- Spend the majority of time on your feet, frequently bending, lifting, and carrying items
- Assist with organizing and securing loads to prevent damage during transport
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while handling materials
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
- Support team members with hands-on labor as needed
- Work overtime or weekends as required to meet workload demands
Schedule
- Full-Time: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime and occasional weekends as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in logistics, construction, or window/door products is a plus (not required)
- Previous lead or team leadership experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Ability to interpret work orders and product specifications
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-focused
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Frequent use of hands, arms, and vision
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and perform repetitive movements
- Comfortable working both on and off equipment, including regular manual material handling
