Overview
Avanti Window and Doors is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Window Installer to join our team! In this role, you will lead crews in the field, ensure high-quality installations, and set the standard for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Pay $25/hour
What You’ll Do
- Lead and guide installation crews on job sites
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and productivity standards
- Train team members on proper window and door installation techniques
- Communicate field challenges and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure crews are prepared daily with the right tools and materials
- Maintain company trucks, tools, and PPE in clean, working condition
- Provide professional communication and excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in window installation or general construction
- Leadership ability and experience directing a crew
- Ability to safely use nail guns, cordless tools, and levels
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Knowledge of OSHA safety and fall protection practices
- Clean driving record (required)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read job specifications and measurements
- Basic knowledge of Outlook, iOS devices, and GPS
Growth & Training
- Internal candidates: Must be at Avanti Expert Level 2
- External candidates: Will complete Avanti Expert Level 1 & 2 training before becoming a Lead Installer
Work Environment
- Field-based role in residential construction
- Physical work including standing, walking, lifting, and ladder use
- Schedule may vary based on project needs
