Job Description Summary
The Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) position reports to the Director of IT and is responsible for planning, development, management, and implementation of departmental projects, with a focus on software data extraction, ERP optimization, and process improvement. This role combines project management, business analysis, and quality assurance to ensure that system enhancements and initiatives meet organizational objectives and business requirements. The PM/BA will coordinate departmental personnel, drive process improvements, and ensure successful delivery of projects on time and within scope.

General: Ability to maintain an elevated level of accuracy in preparing and entering data. Superb time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet regular and frequent deadlines. Technical: Ability to effectively use accounting software and Enterprise systems, email, search engine, Internet; ability to effectively use Microsoft Products: Outlook, Word, Excel and to use or learn specific software needed to improve productivity.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as financial journals, operating and accounting instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization. Ability to read through reporting and compliance requirements.
Math & Reasoning: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and willingness to adapt to change and take the initiative.
Physical and Environmental Elements
Physical Demands: Ability to sit continuously for over 3/4 of normal work shift, and stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for at least 1/4 of the normal work shift. Ability to climb stairs. Ability to talk or hear continuously. Ability to see clearly to do all work-related tasks (clear or corrected vision at 20 inches or less). Finger dexterity is required frequently for over 3/4 of the normal work shift.
Work Environment: Position is typically performed in the office environment with standard equipment and moderate noise levels (examples: computers, printers, fax, copiers, light traffic, and phone); however, will often interact with the production/warehouse environment. Thus, the employee works in a normal office setting and will travel to an open warehouse area where temperatures are subject to outdoor conditions in terms of cold and heat. There is exposure to various tools and equipment as well as forklift operations and corresponding noise levels.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Serve as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and task assignments using project management tools such as Monday.com (or similar PM software).
- Conduct QA and validation of proposed system changes to ensure that requirements are accurately implemented before deployment to UAT.
- Mentor and guide teams to improve data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation skills.
- Build and maintain effective data governance processes and data cataloging to support analytics and reporting.
- Provide ongoing evaluation and recommendations for continuous improvement in ERP, e-commerce platforms, and other departmental systems.
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Tech, Marketing, and Sales to understand business needs and ensure system enhancements meet those needs.
- Oversee operational performance of web platforms including .com, eBay, and other e-commerce platforms, including analytics, SEO, and HTML/CSS enhancements.
- Manage and develop departmental personnel, promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Work professionally and efficiently with all levels of the organization.
- Adhere to company employment policies and safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience (typically 4 years in project management, business analysis, or ERP/data management).
- 4-6 years’ experience in ERP data management and project management, with exposure to business analysis tasks.
- Medical device experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems including sales, inventory, product, and service management.
- Demonstrated experience with project management tools (Monday.com, Jira, Asana, or similar).
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
