Job Description
Avanciers are looking for skilled Senior Java Developers with experience in Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) to join a long-term project. This role involves hands-on development of enterprise web applications, writing complex SQL queries, and performing in-depth root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for DB2 and Oracle databases
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues
- Develop and support batch processes and web services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
Required Skills
- 3 years of experience with Java (6.0 ) and J2EE technologies
- Strong hands-on experience with JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JavaScript, and EJBs
- Experience with Java IDEs such as RAD 7.5 or higher
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and design patterns (Singleton, Factory, DAO)
- Knowledge of MVC architecture
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS 8.0)
- Strong experience with SQL (DB2 and Oracle)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES)
- Exposure to SuSE Linux 11 and VMware environments
