Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Transportation Analyst to support warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, maintaining accurate ERP records, supporting import/export activities, managing supplier communications, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound warehousing and transportation activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory and logistics data within SAP/ERP systems.
- Process and monitor import/export documentation and shipment activities.
- Communicate daily with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Support warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, and dispatch.
- Perform inventory control activities, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Analyze logistics data and prepare operational reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Monitor logistics performance, including warehouse processing, carrier performance, and import/export documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company operational standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain and logistics initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field with 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or project execution.
- OR Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, import/export processes, and supply chain operations.
- Experience with customer service/customer success and project execution.
- Previous experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Advanced proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Advanced Filters, and report creation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, urgency, and strong collaboration skills.
