We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Transportation Analyst for a prominent client of ours. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize freight movements across all transportation modes (Parcel, LTL, FTL, Rail, Import/Export) by collaborating with carriers, negotiating rates, securing capacity, and optimizing routing and schedules to ensure cost‑effective, on time delivery.
- Execute freight payment and financial controls by validating carrier invoices against contracts, resolving discrepancies, and partnering with Finance/Accounting to ensure accurate and timely transportation cost reporting.
- Manage transportation claims by investigating and resolving over, short, and damaged (OSD) claims through effective coordination with internal teams, carriers, and external stakeholders.
- Analyze transportation performance and drive improvement by leveraging TMS and data analytics tools to track KPIs, identify trends, and provide insights that support continuous improvement and Traffic Team strategic objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree with Strong Excel and SAP.
- Must have the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
