Role: HR Operations Specialist
Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite)
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the HR team supporting the Richmond manufacturing unit, Electrification Smart Power – Power Protection, you will contribute to delivering value-added HR support aligned with business objectives.
You will be primarily accountable for:
- Support HR Activities: Collaborate with and support the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) in day-to-day HR activities across assigned business areas. Assist in implementing people strategies aligned with business objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Operational HR Support: Support HR processes including recruitment for production employees, onboarding, new hire orientation, time and attendance management, and coordination with the HR Services team for HR administration and payroll activities.
- HR Policy Application: Assist HRBPs in addressing employee inquiries, interpreting HR policies, and ensuring consistent policy implementation.
- Employee Experience: Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and programs that enhance the overall employee experience.
- Project Support: Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives supporting the HR Business Partners.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure HR activities comply with company values, Code of Conduct, internal policies, and applicable U.S. employment laws and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and support initiatives that enhance HR operations and business effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources with a solid understanding of HR operations and U.S. employment regulations.
- Proven experience in HR administration and employee lifecycle support.
- Basic knowledge of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented with a proactive mindset and a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
