Assistant General Manager

We're seeking an experienced AGM who thrives in a high-volume environment and takes pride in building a sales-driven, product-focused dining room. This role is for a leader who understands that exceptional hospitality starts with knowledge, energy, and execution, and who knows how to translate that into results.
If you get excited about coaching servers on wine pairings, driving beverage sales, and creating seamless service while maintaining a polished guest experience, this is your role.
Responsibilities
- Lead front-of-house operations with precision, urgency, and high standards
- Drive food and beverage sales through active floor leadership and coaching
- Train and mentor servers, hosts, and bartenders on wine knowledge, menu expertise, and sales techniques
- Ensure all company policies, service standards, and health & safety protocols are upheld
- Actively engage guests on the floor and build loyalty through elevated hospitality
- Partner with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless communication and timing
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Front of House Manager, AGM, or Service Manager in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong wine and food knowledge (or a genuine passion to deepen it)
- Proven ability to coach teams to increase sales and elevate service standards
- Solid understanding of labor costs, cover counts, and how to maximize revenue per guest
- Hands-on leadership style, present on the floor during service, not behind a desk
- High expectations and the ability to hold a team accountable with respect and clarity
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead during high-pressure service
