Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an LED Wall Engineer / Technician based in the DC Metro area and the East Coast. The role involves setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting LED video walls for live and virtual events. Responsibilities include working with AV equipment, managing on-site installations, performing routine maintenance, conducting diagnostics, and ensuring the seamless operation of LED video wall systems. The professional will collaborate with clients and team members to achieve high-quality production outcomes while adhering to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with LED Wall setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Technical understanding of audiovisual equipment, including displays, cables, and signal distribution systems.
- Proficiency in operating video processors, switching systems, and AV integration workflows.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and under pressure.
- Ability to install and manage staging, lighting, and peripheral AV equipment effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with event teams and clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and travel locally as needed.
