Job Overview
Sempergreen Services (part of Living Building Group, Inc.) is looking for a Living Wall Maintenance Technician to join our growing Vertical Operations team. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on maintaining and caring for interior and exterior living green walls at client sites.

What You’ll Do
- Perform routine maintenance on living green walls (watering, pruning, fertilizing, plant replacement)
- Monitor plant health and report issues such as pests or environmental stress
- Maintain clean, professional wall appearance to SGS standards
- Assist Lead Technician(s) with service visits, setup, and cleanup
- Follow safety procedures when using ladders, lifts, and tools
- Load/unload tools, plants, and materials as needed
- Document service visits using mobile reporting tools
- Represent SGS professionally while working on-site with clients
- Support special projects including renovations, installations, and seasonal updates
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in horticulture, landscaping, or plant care (green wall experience a plus)
- Basic understanding of plant health and irrigation needs
- Comfortable with hands-on, physical work and working at heights
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and grow in a technical field role
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for work documentation
- Comfortable traveling much of the time
Preferred:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and reliable transportation
- Experience in a field-based or client-facing role
Work Environment
- Full-time, salaried position
- Some weekend work required
- Field-based with heavy travel to multiple client sites
- Mix of indoor and outdoor work
- Work at heights using proper safety equipment (OSHA compliant)
