We are looking to hire an Associate Vice President of Production/ Experiential Marketing in our LA or NY Office! The Associate Vice President of Event Production & Execution will lead and oversee the production of exceptional experiential marketing campaigns across multiple categories, including technology, fashion, beauty, hospitality, and more. This senior leadership role requires expertise in large-scale event production, budget management, and strategic planning, along with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team. The VP will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative, impactful experiences that resonate with target audiences and elevate our clients' brands. Key Responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the vision for event production and execution across diverse industries.
- Develop and implement strategies to deliver world-class experiential marketing campaigns aligned with client objectives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure the integration of cutting-edge technologies and creative approaches.
- Work collaboratively with the creative services team to ensure concepts and brand messaging are aligned with client expectations.
Event Production Oversight:
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale events, pop-ups, product launches, VIP experiences, and more.
- Oversee all production elements, including venue selection, creative design, staffing, logistics, and technical requirements.
- Ensure events meet brand standards client expectations and deliver a seamless guest experience.
Budget Management:
- Own overall budget accountability, ensuring financial goals are met for each project.
- Develop and monitor production budgets, timelines, and financial reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Negotiate with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms and ensure cost efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of producers, coordinators, and freelancers.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the production team.
- Provide strategic guidance to ensure consistent and high-quality execution across all projects.
Cross-Category Expertise:
- Leverage expertise across tech, fashion, beauty, hospitality, and other sectors to create tailored and impactful campaigns.
- Ensure alignment of event strategies with the unique needs and goals of each category.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, cultivating strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
- Partner with internal teams (creative, strategy, account management) to align on objectives and deliverables.
Performance Analysis:
- Evaluate event performance and ROI through detailed post-event reports.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation to enhance future projects.
Qualifications include:
Experience:
- 10 years of event production and experiential marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success managing cross-category campaigns in industries such as tech, fashion, beauty, and hospitality.
- Extensive experience with large-scale events, brand activations, and VIP productions.
Skills:
