Autumn Communications is seeking a detail-oriented, strategic proposal and program strategist to support our new business team across divisions. This is an executional role focused on translating team thinking into polished proposals and pitch decks—an ideal fit for someone who understands the building blocks of integrated communications programs, and has a knack for tightening copy, organizing & designing decks, and managing deliverable timelines under deadlines. We’re looking for someone who can bring clarity, logic, and structure to the proposal process—supporting big ideas without needing to concept them from scratch. The ideal candidate would have experience across multiple verticals, from Corporate & Tech (B2B Tech, B2C Tech, Corporate Communications, Crisis) to Consumer Lifestyle, Beauty, Health & Wellness, CPG and beyond as this will be a role that delivers proposals across brands.
Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and organize proposals, new business decks, case studies, and program recaps for PR and digital clients across a range of sectors.
- Collaborate with account, creative, and strategy teams to bring proposals to life from outline to final format.
- Maintain ownership of timelines and project milestones during proposal development.
- Refine and rewrite copy to match client tone, business objectives, and pitch goals.
- Translate strategy and tactics into clear, compelling slides and supporting copy.
- Design that matches brand specs as needed within Google Slides
- Monitor proposal performance (win/loss), and help update proposal templates, capabilities decks, and case studies.
- Research relevant trends, competitors, or category benchmarks to support proposals when needed.
- Culture-obsessed media maven who can identify the latest social trends and audit media to identify whitespace opportunities for concepts
- Fluent in AI programs and prompt usage for building proposals
- Ensure proposals are buttoned-up, grammatically sound, visually organized, and on deadline.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or digital communications; exposure to agency new business or strategy teams is a plus.
- Strong writing, editing, and deck-building skills.
- Understanding of PR and digital tactics, including influencer marketing, social campaigns, and integrated brand strategy.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally and juggling multiple deadlines.
- Comfort with project management tools or practices (e.g., Monday, Asana, etc.)
- Proficiency in deck building platforms like Google Slides, Microsoft Powerpoint, Canva, etc.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-obsessed.
