Role Overview
As a Vice President at Galaxy Capital, you will own deals end-to-end and be accountable for execution, lender strategy, and closing outcomes. This is a senior execution and relationship role for professionals who can independently run complex transactions and consistently deliver results for sponsors and lenders. The role requires strong judgment, deep capital markets knowledge, and the ability to lead deals.
This is an onsite role based in our Midtown Manhattan office.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage transactions from inception through closing across multiple asset types and loan structures
- Lead underwriting and deal strategy
- Manage lender outreach and negotiation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for sponsors and lenders throughout the deal lifecycle
- Delegate effectively to Analysts and Associates. Review work and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Train and develop junior members
- Anticipate risks and proactively manage issues to keep deals moving forward
Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
- Proven ability to independently execute and close CRE debt transactions
- Deep familiarity with a range of deal types (refinance, acquisition, construction, bridge, mezzanine, etc.)
- Strong underwriting, financial analysis, and written communication skills
- High degree of professionalism and credibility with sponsors and lenders
- Ability to operate with autonomy in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000–$185,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, this role is eligible for a meaningful performance-based bonus tied to deal execution and overall performance.
