What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Automated Collection Services Inc?
Job Summary
The Receptionist position will be in charge of greeting all vendors and visitors, receiving and transferring incoming calls, as well as taking payments for both ACSI/RDAC.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Answering of incoming calls on switchboard
- Maintains and distributes voice mail from after-hours
- Receives visitors, vendors and applicants
- Receives payments from walk-in debtors and transfers cash payments to the accounting department
- Receives and scans incoming mail and packages
- Provides scanning and logging in of all incoming fax
- Provides additional back-up scanning for various departments
- Receive incoming debtor mail and scan to accounts
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be experienced with computers and be familiar with MS Office software products including Word and Excel
- Must have experience and be able to operate typical office equipment including photocopier, fax machine, etc.
- Must be very well organized
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task
- Must maintain professional and friendly attitude at all times
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required
- One to two years successful clerical experience preferred
