Service Advisor Responsibilities
As a Service Advisor, you will help manage the customer experience from the time a vehicle arrives until the repair is completed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers and writing up vehicles
- Preparing repair estimates
- Reviewing recommended repairs and maintenance with customers
- Selling and obtaining authorization for repair work
- Ordering and coordinating parts
- Dispatching work to technicians
- Monitoring workflow and helping keep technicians productive
- Communicating repair status and updates with customers
- Opening and closing repair orders
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Helping maintain an organized and efficient shop workflow
