Front Desk Medical Receptionist / Certified Medical Assistant
Austintown Pediatrics, a trusted and privately owned pediatric practice, is seeking a professional and experienced Medical Receptionist or Certified Medical Assistant to join our front desk team. This is a full-time position, scheduled 4-5 days per week.
Schedule & Hours
- Monday-Friday.
- 7:45 am - 5:30 pm.
- 7:45 am - 4:30 pm in the summer.

- Experience working with pediatric demographic.
- Experience using EMR systems.
- Experience using Office Practicum EMR system is a plus.

- Answering phone calls.
- Scheduling and sending messages to providers as needed.
- Entering patient demographics.
- Maintain and update patient health records.
- Collect copays.
- Complete patient forms, referrals, and appointment tasks.
- Pull patient forms for next business day.
- Complete appointment reminders.
- Scan forms into charts.
- Referrals and prior authorizations.
- Communicate with hospitals, specialty departments and other provider offices for patient related information.
- Prepare medical records as needed.
- Checking faxes throughout the day.
