Job Summary
The Manufacturing Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to the manufacturing team, ensuring smooth operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with staff, vendors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Answer phones and direct calls; respond to employee, vendor, and customer inquiries. Greet and assist visitors, deliveries, and contractors. Maintain accurate records. Scan, file, and organize production documents etc. Support office staff with daily tasks as needed and during absences. Assist with data entry and reporting to ensure accurate operational records. Maintain office supplies and organize administrative and safety supply areas. Coordinate internal communication to support production schedules. Assist with compliance documentation, safety records, and manufacturing-related paperwork. Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred. Proven administrative or clerical experience, preferably in manufacturing. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. Knowledge of basic manufacturing safety and compliance standards is a plus.
