Role: Registered Nurse in the Surgical Stepdown unit

Responsibilities

  • Provide complex post-surgical care and monitor vital signs and telemetry
  • Administer medications, manage wounds and drains
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families about care and recovery process
  • Support safe discharge procedures

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current RN licensure
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Key Duties: Deliver high-quality post-surgical care, ensure patient safety, and promote recovery within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.
