Responsibilities Include
- Utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care
- Maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients
- Evaluating care effectiveness of direct caregivers
- Coordinating patient care with other departments
- Ensuring patient rights and confidentiality
- Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates
- Unit: ICU Stepdown with 18 beds and a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Patient population includes cardiovascular and neurosurgical cases
- Managing stable cardiac and insulin drips, post-procedural monitoring, and ventilatory support
- Requires strong cardiac and neurological assessment skills, including NIHSS competency
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the state or eligible via compact licensure
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (must be obtained within specified period if not already held)
