RN Surgical Acute Care Nights

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizes patient wellness, and models proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Works in a fast-paced, innovative environment, contributing to safety and quality at the point of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing top-of-scope nursing duties on specialty Med-Surg units with moderate to high patient acuity.
• Valuing teamwork, patient-centered care, and continuous learning.
• Supporting safety, security, and adherence to clinical standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state.
• Minimum six months of RN nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
