Key Duties: Conduct forensic collections, attend peer reviews, ensure compliance with standards, collaborate with emergency staff, law enforcement, and legal entities, and participate in courtroom proceedings.
Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), current Illinois RN licensure, successful completion of SANE certification through the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, with preferred forensic nursing experience. Proficiency in computer systems like Epic is required or post-hire training.
Skills: Knowledge of forensic nursing, trauma-informed care, teamwork, adherence to legal and professional standards, and effective communication.
