School Speech Language Pathologist - Full-Time

Role Overview: A School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides therapy services to K-12 students in a school setting. The position involves conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs, delivering direct therapy (pull-out and in-classroom), and collaborating with educators, therapists, and families. Key responsibilities include screening, re-evaluations, documentation, and participation in IEP meetings. The role fosters professional growth through team collaboration and student-centered care, supporting communication skills vital for academic and social success.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
• State SLP license and CCC from ASHA
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapy techniques
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in school, pediatric, or early childhood settings is preferred
  
  

Key Duties

• Perform speech and language evaluations and screenings
• Create, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services in various settings
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate progress to families
