What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU position at Aura Health?
Role: Join the new PACU team in a developing 10-bay unit providing 24/7 post-operative care for various surgical and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities: Recover patients from anesthesia, IV, and conscious sedation requiring acute and ICU level care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish workflows, demonstrate teamwork, autonomy, communication, critical thinking, flexibility, and innovation.
Qualifications: Current Connecticut RN license; BSN preferred; BLS and ACLS certifications required; PACU and/or ICU experience preferred; training provided for step-down and ED experienced RNs.
