Key Responsibilities
- Assess: Evaluate physical, social, psychological, cognitive, and communicative status by gathering information from patients, families, and team members.
- Plan: Develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare teams, including education and follow-up support.
- Implement: Deliver or delegate care, coordinate with team members, prioritize tasks, manage resources efficiently, and ensure adherence to care guidelines.
- Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, maintain accurate documentation, and promote professional development.
- Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact license transfer if applicable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Skills in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and care coordination.
- Ability to read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.
- Physical capacity to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, and driving if applicable.
