Role Overview: The Nurse Educator develops, delivers, and evaluates education programs for clinical staff, focusing on oncology, chemotherapy, and biotherapy training.
Responsibilities include: Assessing onboarding and training effectiveness, creating skills development initiatives, ensuring compliance with standards like ONS and NCCN, and supporting competency evaluations.
Additional duties: Acting as a clinical resource, mentoring preceptors, conducting clinic site visits, developing procedures, and participating in pilot programs and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills: Registered Nurse licensed in the state, with a BSN preferred, BLS certification, and at least five years of hematology/oncology experience. Experience facilitating educational programs and strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
Other requirements: Ability to travel extensively, maintain current clinical practice, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
