About Our Producer/Shooter
The Producer/Shooter plays a key role in the planning and production of Audiochuck’s visual and audio storytelling projects. This individual is responsible for producing and shooting original content that aligns with Audiochuck’s creative vision and brand standards.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience working in the field—operating cameras, conducting interviews, gathering b-roll, and producing story-driven content—ensuring the highest quality storytelling and technical execution. Documentary or non-fiction production experience is required.

About Our Producer/Shooter
The Producer/Shooter plays a key role in the planning and production of Audiochuck’s visual and audio storytelling projects. This individual is responsible for producing and shooting original content that aligns with Audiochuck’s creative vision and brand standards.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience working in the field—operating cameras, conducting interviews, gathering b-roll, and producing story-driven content—ensuring the highest quality storytelling and technical execution. Documentary or non-fiction production experience is required.
What You’ll Do
- Produce and direct on-location shoots, including interviews, b-roll, and behind-the-scenes content
- Work directly with reporters to film interviews and gather b-roll and additional assets
- Ensure proper lighting, audio, and camera setup for professional-quality production
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Photography, producers, editors, and reporters to align visuals with creative goals
- Contribute ideas for new formats, visual storytelling techniques, and social content
- Provide technical support and mentorship to production assistants and junior staff when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience producing and shooting documentary or non-fiction content
- Advanced knowledge of Sony platform cameras, including but not limited to FX3 and FX6
- Working knowledge of professional audio equipment, including Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, and Schoeps
- Strong visual storytelling instincts and attention to narrative pacing
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- FAA Part 107 Drone Operator License preferred
