Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Accounting Assistant at Audian. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for financial statements preparation, utilizing accounting software, managing accounting tasks, handling finance-related duties, and performing bookkeeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Process and manage incoming payments.
- Prepare and send invoices.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process and verify invoices.
- Prepare and process payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Customer Account Management:
- Serve as the first line of support for customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Address customer questions regarding contracts and billing.
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly and accurately.
- Contract Audits:
- Assist in reviewing and auditing contracts for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all contract-related documents are up-to-date and accurately filed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma; associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience.
- Strong customer service skills and experience handling customer inquiries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
