Job Overview
AtWork is hiring a Quality Engineering Associate for an established automotive manufacturing facility in Tazewell, TN.
The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive or manufacturing quality, be comfortable working with customers, and have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and automotive quality requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding quality issues and requirements
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Support automotive quality systems and procedures
- Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Investigate and resolve quality concerns
- Work closely with production and engineering teams
- Maintain quality documentation and records
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Quality, manufacturing, or automotive experience preferred
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Knowledge of automotive quality systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Customer-facing experience preferred
- IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, or 8D experience is a plus
- Technical or engineering education is a plus
