Liquor Store Stocker

Duties

• Receive, unload, and organize shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe handling of heavy items.
• Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory movement and update stock records in real-time.
• Stock shelves with a diverse selection of liquor, wine, beer, and related products while maintaining attractive displays through merchandising best practices.
• Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify stock discrepancies and assist with cycle counts or audits.
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes by preparing products for sale or transfer to other locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including warehouse spaces and back-of-house zones.
• Support customer service efforts by providing product information when needed and ensuring the store remains inviting and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred; familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory management and stock accuracy.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts.
• Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are beneficial for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a positive attitude to collaborate with team members and assist customers.
• Knowledge of retail math, merchandising techniques, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory control practices. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
