Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:45 PM
Overtime: Required as needed
Job Overview
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assembler candidates to join a growing manufacturing team in the South Sacramento area. This is a hands-on production role assembling electrical components and kits used in the construction, solar, and utility industries. This is a temp-to-hire position with opportunities for permanent employment based on performance and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components, wiring, and cable assemblies according to production orders and work instructions.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly documentation.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies accurately.
- Identify wires by color and measure materials to required specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow written work instructions, blueprints, or engineering drawings.
- Experience with electrical assemblies, wiring, or cable harnesses is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed, sometimes with short notice.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
- Lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Work around manufacturing equipment and moderate to loud noise.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled.
