The Role

A technical, hands-on role where you will:

• Serve as the primary technical bridge between the remote engineering team and DoD end-users.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot systems directly within a secure facility (SCIF).
• Administer bare-metal Linux (RHEL) and Windows systems in constrained, non-internet-connected environments.
• Write robust Bash and Python scripts to resolve unexpected deployment errors on the fly.
• Ensure platform stability during week-long iterative test events so ML applications can process seamlessly.
• Manage and scale production containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

The Essential Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
• Demonstrable bare-metal experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
• Strong scripting capabilities (Bash, Python) without relying on external web resources.
• Production-level experience with Docker and either Kubernetes or Terraform.
• Willingness to travel locally to the Waldorf, MD area for scheduled test events.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• An Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
• Previous experience operating within a SCIF or air-gapped network.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs and DoW security compliance.
