What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trade Support Intermediate position at ATR International?
Job Description:
- Manage borrower information flow from the Credit Portfolio Group’s clients, ensuring adherence to Compliance policies regarding the handling of Private Material Non-Public Information
- Review and understand legal documents (including Credit Agreements), financial materials and investment committee memoranda in connection with syndicated and unitranche loans.
- Operate proactively and with urgency to ensure timely delivery of credit agreement financial covenant reporting information
- Navigate web-based due diligence data rooms, obtain and organize documentation
- Demonstrate problem-solving and solid judgment/decision making skills
- Exhibit ownership, escalation and resolution of issues when they occur in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with the Credit Portfolio Group, the Credit Trading Desk, operations, legal, and compliance to ensure proper and timely posting of all documentation
- Ownership of internal communication, status updates and covenant compliance tracker
- Field and resolve ad-hoc queries from internal and external clients
- Identify and address control gaps and efficiency opportunities
Top Skills:
- Self-agency, organization, ability to work independently, and the knowledge of how to manage and track portfolios
- Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs)
- Professional communication skills with external clients
- 2-3 years of experience in financial professional roles desired
- Experience reading legal documents/credit agreements would be a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar
