The Behavior Support Facilitator serves as the primary point of contact for classroom staff requesting behavioral or mental health support. This position ensures timely response to support requests, coordinates interventions with behavior support staff and administration, and maintains accurate behavior data. The Facilitator plays a critical role in promoting a safe, supportive, and responsive learning environment for all students.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as the initial contact for classroom staff requesting behavioral or mental health assistance through designated communication channels.
- Coordinate immediate support by deploying appropriate personnel or strategies to classrooms.
- Collaborate with behavior support staff, dean of students, and administration to ensure effective interventions.
- Collect, document, and maintain accurate records of behavioral incidents and interventions.
- Monitor trends and provide data reports to inform decision-making and proactive strategies.
- Identify students exhibiting immediate mental health needs and coordinate appropriate support resources.
- Communicate with relevant staff and external partners to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in team meetings to review behavioral data and develop intervention plans.
- Engage in required professional development related to behavioral support, crisis intervention, and mental health practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
- Experience in behavioral support, crisis intervention, or student services in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong background in data collection and analysis related to student behavior.
- PA Ciminal and Child abuse Clearances current withtin 180 days prior to start date required
- FBI clearance current within 1 year of start date required
- CPR/First Aid Certification required within 30 days of hire
- Clearance as an MA provider by both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the federal government required (conducted upon hire)
- Support, Band 11, Hourly $23.69 - $29.61 Hourly
- Placement on the salary schedule based upon related experience
- Monday- Friday. 7.5 hours/day, 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM, 210 days/year
- Excellent medical, prescription, vision and dental coverage at minimal cost to employee

- Life insurance in amount of 1x annual salary paid by CCIU
