About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Planner to join a global, industry-leading technology company for a long-term contract assignment. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring the flow of materials to support build plans and meet critical operational targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Material Coordination: Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production process to meet project timelines with minimal supervision.
- Demand Planning: Perform material requirement analysis to support both near-term execution and longer-term demand planning; identify and resolve supply gaps.
- MRP System Management: Maintain and update MRP system data, including Bills of Materials (BOM) and item attributes, to ensure accurate material planning.
- Inventory & Disposition: Assess material availability and provide recommendations for disposition (e.g., excess, alternate usage, or obsolescence) in coordination with cross-functional partners.
- Agile Adaptation: Adjust manufacturing and supply plans in response to design changes, material constraints, or shifting priorities; communicate impacts to stakeholders.
- Shortage Management: Identify, track, and resolve material shortages or planning deviations; generate and communicate clear shortage reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and Business teams to align on requirements, schedules, and priorities.
Position Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have):
- Education & Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field OR
- Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word).
- Core Skills: Strong collaboration, structured problem-solving, and detail-oriented task management skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have):
- Experience: 2 years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) materials planning, production operations, or engineering program support.
- Systems: Proficiency in Oracle ERP and/or experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse.
- Certifications: APICS or equivalent supply chain certification.
- Soft Skills: Exposure to cross-functional collaboration within a matrixed organization and strong presentation/communication skills.
