We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Manufacturing Quality / Production Support Specialist to support quality systems, production processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supporting ISO and Quality Management System (QMS) activities, maintaining documentation and records, assisting with calibration processes, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met across manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing, SMT, electro-mechanical, or electronics assembly environments and possess strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO compliance activities, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Maintain quality records, documentation, and process-related reports in accordance with company and ISO procedures.
- Assist with calibration activities, schedules, and process tracking.
- Support work center operations involving SMT, Electro-Mechanical, THT, and technician-related manufacturing processes.
- Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office applications to support reporting, documentation, and operational tracking.
- Collaborate with managers, employees, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to support manufacturing objectives.
- Identify operational or process-related issues and communicate findings to management.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help ensure operational efficiency and quality standards are achieved.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing, production, quality, or electronics assembly operations preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO procedures, quality systems, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Understanding of calibration processes and manufacturing support activities.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems using sound judgment and reasoning skills.
- Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with SMT, Electro-Mechanical, or THT manufacturing processes is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle materials, boards, panels, and equipment.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Requires steady hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position operates within a manufacturing environment and may require flexibility in scheduling to support operational demands, including occasional communication with global teams or facilities outside of standard business hours.
