Key Responsibilities* Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that deliver clean, reliable data from multiple sources into Snowflake.* Develop and maintain data models and transformations using DBT, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and maintainability.* Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure consistent data definitions.* Implement data quality checks, documentation, and version control across data pipelines and models.* Optimize data warehouse performance, storage, and cost efficiency within Snowflake.* Support integration of third-party data sources and APIs into the data platform.* Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, pipeline failures, and performance issues in a proactive manner.* Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to maintain a secure, compliant, and scalable data infrastructure.Qualifications required * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.* 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.* Hands-on experience with DBT, including building modular data models, managing macros, testing, and documentation.* Strong experience with Snowflake, including schema design, performance tuning, and security configuration.* Proficiency in SQL and experience optimizing complex queries.* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and orchestration tools such as Airflow, or Data Factory* Understanding of data warehouse architecture, data governance, and best practices for ELT.* Preferred * Experience integrating data from SaaS platforms (Salesforce).* Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for data automation.* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and modern data stack tools.* Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, or Tableau.
