Job Description: Senior QA Manager

Responsibilities:

• Become an application domain expert by

• • learning from developers, business owners, IT managers, code, and documentation
  • being hands on

• 
  Become familiar with the application technologies

• • Legacy applications: .NET / Kerberos and Angular
  • Modern applications: Web API, .NET Core w/ React, MVC
  • Modern low code: SharePoint, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps (and Power Automate)
  • Modern reporting: Power BI, Azure Data Factory

• 
  Help develop new QA goals and vision and achieve the current QA vision of

• • test automation
  • performance testing
  • integration of DevOps with test results
  • dashboards with AppInsights for performance monitoring by country and custom application module
  • review code coverage for unit testing
  • define and track key QA KPIs

• 
  Be hands on developing tests and automation in all areas and lead a QA team of 5 (a mix of onshore and offshore)
• 
  Help review current processes with

• • development teams to optimize QA resource efficiencies and increase quality of releases
  • perform QA postmortems for high priority issues to improve process

• 
  Report testing progress on a periodic basis to stakeholders
• 
  Be a team player, a good listener, and have a positive attitude

Desired Experience / Skills:

• 
  10 years of experience in quality assurance and testing
• 
  Hands-on experience in test automation with Selenium or Katalon or another tool
• 
  Experience as a developer or scripting
• 
  Pro-active, accountable, and focused; with the ability to take ownership of project requirements
• 
  Must possess strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• 
  Experience in testing cloud-based application
• 
  Demonstrate strong process expertise and should have an eye for detail
