What You'll Do
- Lead income tax provision preparation and review for both US GAAP and IFRS reporting, including GAAP-to-IFRS conversion
- Manage interim and annual tax provision cycles end to end
- Analyze and document US GAAP to IFRS income tax differences, tracking adjustments and communicating impacts to stakeholders
- Own reconciliation and validation of income tax accounts and supporting tax data
- Partner with global tax teams and legal entity controllers on tax accounting matters
- Maintain strong internal controls in line with SOX and global regulatory expectations
- Serve as point of contact for external tax accountants and advisors
- Evaluate and document tax accounting implications of new transactions and restructurings
- Contribute to tax planning, analytics, and special projects
What We're Looking For
- 5-9 years of tax provision experience (5-7 years ideal)
- Background in public accounting (Big 4/Big 8-caliber firm), a public-to-private combo path, or straight private-side tax/tax accounting
- Hands-on experience with both IFRS tax provision (IAS 12) and US GAAP tax provision (ASC 740) — this is required, not one or the other
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Master's in Tax
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, real-time reporting environment
Preferred
- CPA certification
- Financial services industry background
- Experience with CorpTax, Alteryx, or Power Query
